With the continued implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum, learners are increasingly being nurtured not only academically but also in leadership and personal development.
Evans Kidero embraced this new phase with enthusiasm as he transitioned to Kamuiru Boys High School for his senior secondary education. Having demonstrated strong performance in his junior school years, Evans carried forward not just academic excellence but also a passion for leadership.
During his time in junior school, he served as a Board of Management (B.O.M) representative, where he actively contributed to student representation and decision-making. Building on this experience, Evans has already made a remarkable impression in his new school by earning the trust of his peers and teachers and being elected as the Class President.
His journey reflects the CBC’s emphasis on nurturing responsible, confident, and proactive learners. As he continues with his studies, Evans is well-positioned to grow both academically and as a young leader, setting a strong foundation for his future aspirations.
